NYGHT's Mission Statement
NYGHT takes paranormal science, our clients claims, as well as their confidentiality seriously.
Clients names, addresses and contact information will be kept strictly confidential.
NYGHT is a science-based research group dedicated to furthering the understanding and finding the scientific proof of unexplainable "paranormal" phenomena. We encourage education of natural environmental events, as well as, what are hypothesized by "leaders" in the field.
NYGHT does not profess to be "ghost busters," nor do we do "exorcisms." Again, we do encourage education, and inform of some commonly known "cleansing's," such as "smudging." Although, we may provide direction, we do not carry out these actions ourselves. Nor do we claim any efficacy of the actions. Often times the act of "smudging" or asking the said paranormal phenomena to "be gone" will give those persons affected some form of confidence, comfort and sense that they are once again in control of their surroundings. Beware of those who claim to provide "services for a fee," such as exorcisms, for they are irresponsibly broadcasting deceptive claims. Remember, paranormal phenomena remains greatly unexplained, ergo, how could someone promote and provide those services effectively?
The mission of the New York Ghost Hunting Team is to observe, collect, document and analyze environmental and scientific data surrounding "paranormal" events. We follow strict procedures in our investigations utilizing handheld and other high tech equipment. We will come to your home, business or establishment to interview witnesses and investigate the claims over a period of several investigations, ruling out or uncovering any plausible rationale for such occurrences. We approach each investigation with strict confidentiality, professionalism and practicality. After our team conducts the preliminary interviews as well as formal investigations, we will then reveal to the claimant our findings.
Working together, our down to earth, caring investigators want to get to the heart of the clients concerns. In constant communication with our clients and resources in the community, we do our best to provide superior service. The clients questions, concerns and fears will always be addressed by our members.
Respect of clients wishes (including religious), we will use only equipment as the client permits.
NYGHT members will do our best to shed light on the issues at hand. If we are, however, unable to provide the answers, we will direct you to those who can or know more about the particular subject. Please be aware that our duty is to conduct recreations of events of clients claims in order to substantiate the accuracy of claimed paranormal events.
All of our research and investigations are conducted free of charge.
