Investigations into the occurrences of your home, business or establishment by qualified, "professionals" who understand and commit to a clients right of privacy.
The process consists of several visits to the site. First, there will be preliminary investigators whom will interview the witnesses and investigate the area.
Next, the investigators will contact the client again to set up the formal investigation while the assigned researchers of the group will look into the history of the site and surrounding areas.
Thereafter, there will be a series of approximately three visits, usually from evening into night*, although this will also depend upon times of when the activity has been reported. More than three investigations will be performed if the need is there. During the investigation, at preference of the client, we will begin setting up the equipment in the areas of highest activity. Once the equipment is in place, the lights of the site will go dark** if needed.
The investigators will then commence an investigation. Investigation consists of recording with state of the art digital video recording which includes night vision LED cameras. There will be a series of digital recordings taken throughout the entire investigation, which will include a question and answer session. The questions and answer sessions may also include using a device called a K2. See equipment page.
There will also be investigators who will try to recreate the claims of the client using knowledge of heating, electrical, plumbing, etc. Once enough evidence has been collected, the evening will come to a close by collecting equipment and updating the client(s).
Beside the physical equipment, our members use their own senses to detect what is going on around them in their environment and often their experiences will be used in the collection of information to present to the client.
Once the investigations are completed, the evidence will be reviewed by the members using hi- tech equipment to find evidence to prove or disprove paranormal events. Once this process is finished, the client will be notified and a meeting will be arranged to go over the findings with the client. If NYGHT is unable to come to a resolution for the client, they will be directed to the appropriate authority who can; this can be done by our group (at the request of the client) or by the client themselves.
*Evening into night- Theory: Most paranormal activity occurs between the hours of 10 PM to 4 AM. This is only a theory!
**Go dark- Theory: Senses are at its pique in the dark.
